   LPPT TMA - VFR LIMITATIONS

The following changes affecting VFR operations are in force:

  1. Due to airspace constraints in Lisboa Approach and Lisboa Terminal sectors, in order to enter/exit these sectors:

    1. Training and instruction flight plans must be submitted according to visual flight rules (VFR).
    2. VFR flights requesting instrument approaches for practice shall comply all the time with visual flight rules and fulfill the requirements for simulated instrument flights stated in SERA.3220 of the EU-REG N.923/2012.
    3. Holding training over Cabo Espichel is not allowed.
    4. Visual night flights planning to route via Cabo Espichel or VFR tunnels are not allowed.
    5. Visual night flights planning to operate to/from LPCS, shall file a flight plan via Cabo da Roca.

  2. VFR Routes in Lisboa TMA, altitude change in TUNNEL SOUTH (TS), TUNNEL NORTH (TN), TUNNEL EAST (TE), TUNNEL SOUTHEAST (TSE) and TUNNEL WEST (TW), shall occur 0.25NM after passing Lagoa de Albufeira.

This Supplement is valid from 23-JAN-2025 until estimated end date 31-DEC-2025. Replaces AIRAC AIP SUP 018/2024 and NOTAM A4607/24.
